To bolster its institutional capacity and deliver on this ambitious strategy, KPA is on the lookout for highly motivated and result-oriented individuals to fill several exciting and challenging positions.

Principal Chief Pharmacist, Grade KPA 4 (1 Position)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with national guidelines and regulations.
  • Coordinate patient flow and ensure smooth operations for enhanced customer satisfaction.
  • Manage commodities for HIV/AIDS and MCH/FP, ensuring timely supply for uninterrupted care.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Community Health Nursing or related Nursing Diploma from a recognized institution.
  • Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Analytical skills, valid practicing license, ICT skills, and at least 3 years of experience as a Senior Nursing Assistant in a reputable organization.

Clinical Officer II – Grade KPA 7 (5 Positions)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general clinical services to employees and dependents.
  • Diagnose and treat patients, working in coordination with other health personnel.
  • Collect, compile, and interpret clinical data to guide patient care.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in pharmacy from a recognized institution or a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
  • Registered with the Pharmacy & Poisons Board.
  • Current practicing license.
  • Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya.
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Nursing Officer II – Grade KPA 7 (7 Positions)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct triaging and document patient care.
  • Deliver efficient and effective quality nursing care services in the Authority’s clinics.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of nursing supplies.
  • Monitor infusions, blood transfusions, and infection control practices.
  • Compile reports for submission and participate in clinical audit evaluation meetings.

Requirements:

  • Higher National Diploma in Clinical Medicine or Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution.
  • Registration with the Clinical Officers Council and a valid practicing license.
  • ICT skills and at least 5 years of experience.

Successful candidates must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, including:

  • Certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
  • Clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board.
  • Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority.
  • Clearance from the Ethics & Anti-Corruption Commission.
  • Report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau.
